Get your content ideas out of your notes and into your scheduler.
How many half finished post ideas have you got in notebooks and on various apps? A fair few, I’m guessing.
Firstly, well done for capturing these ideas. It’s always worth it, but having ideas is only part of it. You need to implement them and share them with the world. I know you’re probably thinking, “Yeah, but I am so busy/stressed/tired/or all of the above that it’s easier said than done.”
The truth is, though, if you don’t do something with those content ideas, they stay your best kept secrets, and that’s not good for business.
I get it life’s full of distractions, mine included. Whatever distracts you, whether it’s the kids demanding snacks or that you hunt for their lost pe sock, or the animals have pulled down another fence that needs fixing on a wet, miserable Monday. (That’s me today). If you don’t find a way to carve out some time to make content creation a priority, things will stay exactly the same.
You could pop a slot in your diary to sit and do it, but be honest, will you? It’s one of those blocks we all know should be in the diary, but it’s also an easy one to “reschedule” aka delete, when something that feels more important turns up. Who will hold you accountable if you don’t show up? Future you probably when you’re feeling stressed but the reality is that doesn’t help either.
What if there was a different solution, a more productive one?
One focused hour to get those posts finished and into the scheduler. The difference is in this hour you’re not working alone, you have me working with you to help you get more done and keep you on track, no more losing time fiddling with the bits you find tricky.
I call them a content power hour.
By the end of the session, you will not only have content in your scheduler, but you will have post elements you can repurpose and use again another day. Meaning a one off session can help you in the present and the future.
I have had clients book these sessions to get a set of Canva templates created to go with the captions they already had. Another client wanted help to write a sequence of captions to help build up interest in something she was launching. These are just two options; the list of possibilities is vast. You choose the focus task that will be of most benefit to you.
These are one off sessions making them a flexible way to get some support to boost your business past a problem or a busy spell without need a long term cash commitment.
If long term content support is something you dream of, a content power hour is a great way to get a taste of working with me. To find out if I am the right person for you.
